Release to Inspector
Regulators are an idiosyncratic bunch. While one inspector may be happy to log into Ready Room in order to view responses and access documents, another may insist on having everything handed to them on paper. Until today, the only way to deliver documents to the more reluctant kind of inspector was to generate a zip archive and hand it over on a thumb drive, and even then the archive did not capture formal responses—only files. This weekend’s release improves on this.

Sort it Out
We’ve also improved the Ready Room experience for those enlightened inspectors (or internal auditors) who are happy to log into the system. First, we’ve changed the default sort order of the inspector view from “Task ID” to “Released At.” This means that the most recently released tasks will show at the top by default. Next, we added a “Sort” widget to the title bar that allows inspectors to sort released requests by any of the following:
Sort the Inspector's View
- Fulfilled (New to Old)
- Fulfilled (Old to New)
- Requested (New to Old)
- Requested (Old to New)
- ID
- Inspector
How’m I Doing?
The inspection board provides a lot of information about the current state of affairs. For instance, if all of the requests are bunched over on the left, then you know that the inspection team is struggling to deliver. Similarly, if all the tasks are hugging the top of the board, then you know that everything's flowing along smoothly. But what you didn’t know until now was just how long it took on average to respond to a request.

Fixes
- The persistent filters functionality released two weeks ago neglected to include the “Staged” and “Complete” filters on the Host Review and Inspector Review columns, respectively. This has been corrected and those settings will now be retained as you enter and leave the inspection board.
- Certain interactions with requests or storyboards would deactivate the file upload link, forcing the user to refresh their view before uploading. This has been resolved.
- We’ve tightened up the inspection header to be more amenable to smaller monitors and browser sizes.
